SIENNA
Liam has been bonding with Abbie all week. Itâs the most adorable thing ever, and Iâm not sure my heart can take much more of this.
We havenât left the apartment since Liam brought me back from City Hall, but thatâs fine. Iâve mainly been watching them interact. Itâs the sweetest thing I have ever seen.
A small part of me wonders if I did the wrong thing by not contacting Liam and telling him he had a child. I always said to myself that I was doing the right thing.
Liam never agreed to have a baby and might not have been happy with my decision to keep her. I was doing the right thing to let him live his life without interruptions.
But seeing him and Abbie together â the way he always has time to listen to her, play with her, read to her. The way his face lights us whenever she approaches him â I seriously think I should have told him.
I wonder if he hates me a little more because I kept Abbie a secret from him. I wouldnât blame him in the slightest. Iâd hate him if heâd kept her from me. I kind of hate myself a little for keeping them apart.
We get to leave the apartment today. Liam insists we move into his condo. Itâs nicer than here, and there is better security â which is probably for the best. I have no idea if Agent Hennessey has discovered Liam and I are married yet.
The burner phone is gone, so I donât have a way to contact him. Not that I would want to in a million years. No, thank you. Iâm better off without him in my life.
Ronan and Niall arrive to help us move. Niall nods sharply, but Ronan glares at me, causing me to shrink into myself a little bit. Abbie doesnât seem fussed by their presence â sheâs too busy clinging to Liam.
Abbie told me last night when I tucked her in that Liam is her best friend, and she loves him. I told her that she should call him Daddy. Luckily sheâs young enough that she only asked why.
When I explained that it was because he was her daddy, she was excited that she had a daddy and didnât question where he had been most of her life.
I glance nervously around as I cross the path, buckling Abbie into the car seat in Liamâs SUV. I donât know what he did with my car â I donât want to know â itâs not like Iâm going to need it. Iâm sure that after we move into Liamâs condo in West Boston, I will be just as under house arrest as I am here. And again, Iâm fine with it.
Liam doesnât speak to me as we drive. He lives in West Boston, near Oracle. Itâs a nicer area than where I lived here three years ago. There is a parking garage under the building, where he parks the SUV, leading Abbie and me upstairs while Ronan and Niall follow with our suitcases and boxes.
